Network requirements

Option 1: Network access to Sesame servier for up/download ofontologies via HTTP (typically port 80)
Option 2: exchange ontologies with Sesame via files (i.e. copyand paste via the web interface of Sesame), no network needed for OntoEdit

Software requirements

Operating System: MS Windows 2000 (preferred), XP or NT 4.
(Note: in general OntoEdit is written in Java and thereforeplatform independent, but we recommend using MSWindows - no exhaustivetesting for other platforms was performed yet.)
